Katy, who later performed a surprise set with her friend and DJ Mia Moretti, wore a high-leg black bodysuit with a cropped leather jacket.
She teamed her outfit with some baggy jeans and accessorised with a crossbody bag by Balenciaga.
The musician shielded her eyes with some rectangular framed sunglasses and styled her hair into loose waves.

The superstar joined the DJ, 40, for her debut set at Coachella's iconic Do Lab Stage.
Katy and Mia have known each other for decades and their close bond was evident as they had fun together at during the show.
Mia was listed as a principal cast member of Katy's 2012 autobiographical documentary concert film Katy Perry: Part Of Me.
Katy's song Tsunami from her 2017 album Witness also lists Mia as a co-writer of the song.
Mia also inspired Katy's song International Smile from her 2013 album Prism.
The DJ also is featured in the 2008 music video for Katy's hit song I Kissed A Girl.
Elsewhere, Doja Cat brought down the house and closed out the first weekend of Coachella 2024 with a number of unique and racy outfits.

The headliners for this year's festivities include Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat and No Doubt.
